Wheatfield, located between the Niagara River and the City of Niagara Falls, is home to more than 18,000 residents. The city, named for its history of wheat production, has a wide range of affordable homes, as well as easy access to the airport and other parts of the greater Buffalo area.

It’s easy to get around the City of Wheatfield. Several highways cross the city, including US 63 and State Route 265. For trips further afield, the city is adjacent to Buffalo Niagara International Airport, where you can get non-stop flights to more than 30 cities around the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Wheatfield residents needn’t worry about access to quality health care. Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and DeGraff Memorial Hospital are both located nearby.

For recreation, Wheatfield boasts a dozen parks plus a youth rec center and a community center. There are also several golf courses near Wheatfield, including Deerwood Golf Course in North Tonawanda, and a local ice rink.

School age residents of Wheatfield attend the public schools of the Wheatfield Niagara Central School District. There are six public schools within the Wheatfield city limits. In addition, Wheatfield is home to St. Peter’s Lutheran School.
